Job summary

Ready Steady Play & Music is hiring an Early Years Play Leader to deliver our developmental music and play classes for babies and toddlers in Athlone, Mullingar or Tullamore. This part-time role finishes no later than 2:30 PM and offers a flexible schedule across four days per week, with training provided and opportunities to work with parents.

You will lead age-appropriate activities, ensure reliability, and hold a full Ireland driving licence with own car for location travel.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Full clean Irish/EU driving license and own car.
• Exceptional reliability and punctuality (onsite from 8:00 AM on class days).
• Energetic, warm and engaging personality.
• Experience with young children (personal or professional).
• Must pass Garda Vetting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver our developmental music and play classes to babies and toddlers aged 0–3.5 years.
• Lead age-appropriate activities and initiate weekly themed play adventures.
• Attend weekly training and equipment updates to ensure program quality.

Early Years Play Leader | up to €21/hr | Finishes no later than 2.30pm

Are you looking for a rewarding role in early childhood development that actually respects your work-life balance? We are hiring a reliable, high-energy Play Leader to deliver our fun, developmental music and play classes to children aged 0–3.5 years.

At Ready Steady Play & Music, we deliver educational, fun and energetic developmental classes for Babies, Wobblers and Toddlers with their parents at Public Classes.

Our classes are the excitement in children's lives everyday we teach them and we are looking for an Early Years Play Leader who has a keen interest in early years education to deliver our Public Classes.

Play Leaders start the class and children's imaginations are immersed into the adventure of the week through developmental play & musical activities. You get to teach age appropriate classes with weekly training and equipment updates.

Location: Deliver classes at 2 of the following locations - Athlone, Mullingar, or Tullamore (Own transport required)

Days: Athlone (Monday & Saturday), Mullingar (Tuesday & Wednesday), Tullamore (Thursday & Friday)

Hours: Part-time / Permanent (24–27 hours over 4 days per week)

Salary: up to €21.00 per hour
