Job summary

JMGC Childcare in Ireland is seeking an Early Years Educator/Childcare Practitioner for a full-time, in-person role. You will deliver high-quality care and learning, following child-centered frameworks and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for children.

Applicants should have FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Childcare, crèche experience preferred, and strong communication/teamwork skills. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of €15.00 to €17.50.

Qualifications

• Minimum FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Childcare.
• Previous crèche experience desirable.
• Strong commitment to child-centered care, safety, and wellbeing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and assess daily learning activities.
• Maintain professional relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Ensure hygiene and safety of indoor/outdoor spaces.
• Support management during audits/inspections.
• Liaise with childcare professionals and agencies as required.
