Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd seeks an apprentice electrician to install electrical equipment and wiring systems across Ireland, including travel to multiple sites. You will maintain motors, motor control systems, and instrumentation equipment in various industries, with opportunities for on-the-job training and progression.

We offer induction, a supportive apprenticeship programme, and potential international assignments in Europe as part of the development track.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical installation knowledge.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland.
• Apprenticeship entry pathway or related training welcome.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical equipment and wiring systems.
• Maintain motors and motor control systems.
• Install measurement and control equipment in pharmaceutical and other industries.
• Maintain instrumentation equipment in these industries.
• Perform other duties as requested by Manager to meet company needs.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.

Travel across Ireland is required as part of this role.

What you will be doing?

• Installation of electrical equipment and wiring systems.
• Maintenance of motors and motor control systems.
• Installation of measurement and control equipment in pharmaceutical and other industries.
• Maintenance of the instrumentation equipment in these industries.
• Any other reasonable and relevant duties as requested by your Manager, necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.

Rates of Pay

• 1st Year €9.47
• 2nd Year €12.18
• 3rd Year €17.59
• 4th Year €21.65

Lodge of €181.68 if applicable to the project you are working on.

Suir Engineering Apprentice Induction:

Prior to an Apprentice starting on site with Suir Engineering you are required to complete a 4 day induction in our Training Centre in City West, Co. Dublin.
