Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking caring staff to supervise children in before- and after-school programmes across local schools. You will lead activities, help with homework, and support a safe, engaging environment each day.

Ideal candidates have experience with school-aged children, basic knowledge of child development, and strong English skills. Garda vetting and two written references are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Maintain lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean and inclusive environment.
