Job summary

Centra Curragh Grange in Ireland is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure the store operates efficiently and delivers outstanding customer service and fresh food in a clean, safe environment. You will lead a team, monitor sales and profitability, managing people and operations while driving KPIs and upholding Centra brand values.

You will work to develop a positive atmosphere, oversee planograms and range, and ensure excellent customer queries are handled professionally within a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a management position.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience balancing cash/tills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong delegation and leadership capabilities.
• Drive and a strong work ethic with KPI focus.

Responsibilities

• Actively live Centra brand-values i.e. Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community-Based.
• Set and monitor sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Store Manager.
• Implement planograms correctly and ensure the correct range is in place in store.
• Merchandise and present the store to the highest standard.
• Approve and role-model communication between employees and management in a safe, respectful environment.
• Support Store Manager in training the team and ensuring smooth running of the store.
• Manage employee performance, give feedback and recognition.
