Job summary

Ornua Co-operative Limited is seeking a Commercial Operations Executive to support the Ireland-based Commercial team. You will coordinate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing and 3rd Party Logistics to ensure smooth stock management, accurate forecasting and robust reporting of performance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, strong data skills (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external retailers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Business, Food Science or related discipline.
• Experience in a commercial support or administrative role, preferably with retailers.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Clear, confident communicator with strong persuasion and presentation skills.
• Able to master reporting systems and handle large data volumes.
• Fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambiguity.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Commercial team’s lead contact with Customer Service and Supply Chain, managing product availability and daily stock for promotions.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers to deliver forecasts by SKU and customer.
• Align commercial plans with Marketing and Trade Marketing for activations and POS planning.
• Serve as lead contact for Field Sales Representatives for reporting and sample tracking.
• Support the Commercial Director and Category team with sales reporting and ad hoc requests.
• Gather and analyse customer and competitor information to maintain market pricing and trackers.
• Use reporting data to support shared insights for value-added decisions.
• Prepare presentations for customer meetings and respond to consumer complaints with Marketing.
