Job summary

Cunningham Contracts seeks an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead the SHEQ function in Dublin, reporting to the SHEQ Lead. Based in our Dublin office, you will manage day-to-day H&S activities across live sites, develop staff capabilities, and drive zero‑harm through proactive mentoring and robust safety processes.

You will ensure compliance with Irish and EU legislation, oversee ISO 45001 implementation, and collaborate on SHEQ strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
• Certified IOSH membership or Chartered status desirable.
• Minimum 6–8 years H&S experience with leadership in high‑risk sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Dublin-based H&S team and drive safety performance across projects.
• Conduct site visits, monitor compliance and mentor safety staff.
• Champion ISO 45001 alignment and oversee internal audits and corrective actions.
