Job summary

KBRA is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst to join the Funds Ratings team in the Dublin office. The role supports credit research on funds, assists in building rating tools, and helps prepare internal memos and publications.

The successful candidate will collaborate with KBRA experts across sectors, develop complex spreadsheets, and participate in diligence meetings with fund management teams. Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel are essential; CFA progress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Math related fields or equivalent with strong analytical skills.
• 1–3 years of work experience as a credit analyst with fund lending, investing, or structured finance preferred.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills; ability to work in a collaborative, fast-growing environment.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and cash flow modeling; familiarity with SQL and VBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with credit research on funds, closed-end funds, and investment vehicles.
• Support development of rating and analytical tools including cash flow and asset coverage models.
• Prepare internal credit memos and publications; present findings to team.
• Participate in diligence meetings with fund management teams to assess investment acumen and risk management.
