Job summary

West Cork Distillers Limited in Skibbereen, Co. Cork, invites applications for a Dry Goods Warehouse role. You will manage the receipt, storage and issue of bottles, caps, labels and packaging, ensuring accurate stock control and timely support to production.

The role requires forklift operation experience, warehousing skills and familiarity with inventory management software. Full training is provided and working hours are 8:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, with various benefits on offer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue dry goods to production to meet production schedules.
Update the inventory system for goods-in and goods-out.
Maintain partcodes in the inventory management system.
Ensure stock locations are accurately recorded in the system.
Monitor stock depletion and flag replenishment needs.
Liaise with customer queries regarding dry goods stock.
Support regular stocktakes in the Dry Goods Warehouse.
Prepare 3rd party dry goods for dispatch.
Keep the warehousing facility tidy and audit-ready.
Operate forklift daily on site.
Be flexible to undertake additional duties as required.

West Cork Distillers was founded in 2003 by John O'Connell, Denis McCarthy and Ger McCarthy and has since grown to a team of 200 people based in our distillery in Skibbereen, Co. Cork and our Waterford site Donohoe Drinks. We are built on an entrepreneurial energy and a passion for the science and art of spirit and whiskey production.

We have been recognised for our innovative approach, and credited with maturing, distilling and bottling some of the finest craft Irish Whiskey on the global market today.

We are looking for.

We are seeking a new team member to join our Dry Goods warehouse team in West Cork Distillers. In this role, you will help ensure the accurate receipt, storage and supply of dry goods, including bottles, caps, labels and other packaging materials, for the bottling of our own West Cork products and contract bottling customers.

Full training will be provided; however, previous experience in a warehousing and forklift operating role is essential.

The standard working hours are 8.00am to 5.30pm on Monday to Friday.

Forklift experience and forklift qualifications are essential for this role. Previous experience of working in a warehousing facility and familiarity with warehousing software is essential.

What you'll do.

Prepare and issue dry goods to production to meet production schedules
Ensure the inventory system is updated correctly for goods-in and goods-out
Maintain partcodes on the Inventory Management System for new and updated dry goods
Ensure stock location is accurately recorded in the inventory management system
Monitor stock depletion and pre-emptively flag when dry goods need to be replenished/ordered
Liaise with customer queries regarding dry goods stock
Support regular stocktakes in the Dry Goods Warehouse
Prepare 3rd party dry goods for dispatch
Ensure the warehousing facility kept tidy and audit ready at all times
Operate forklift daily on site
Flexibility may be required to undertake additional/other duties on occasion, based on business needs and requirements.
