Job summary

Focus Ireland is seeking a proactive fundraising professional to join the Philanthropy Team in Dublin. You will help achieve annual targets across Trusts, Major Giving, Legacy and more, building donor relationships and coordinating research, events, and proposals.

You will manage donor communications, maintain data integrity in the CRM, and collaborate across teams to maximise fundraising opportunities while representing Focus Ireland at events and meetings.

Qualifications

• Relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent transferable experience.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Highly organised with initiative, flexibility and creativity.
• Proven ability to work to targets and tight deadlines.
• Strong prospect research and pipeline development skills.
• Strong project, event and budget management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Energetic person who shows collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Strong relationship management and donor stewardship skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Philanthropy Team to achieve its annual fundraising targets.
• Conduct donor research and prospect analysis to identify donors.
• Contact prospective donors to schedule meetings with Philanthropy Team members.
• Administer donor relationships and ensure high donor experience and stewardship.
• Prepare funding proposals, impact reports, and donor communications.
• Assist with in-person donor events and activities.
• Maintain accurate donor income and engagement data in databases.
• Analyse fundraising pipeline and performance to inform future activities.
• Build cross‑organisational relationships to gather data and case studies.
