Abbott Ireland in Galway is seeking a Document Controller to support the Quality Team and ensure adherence to ISO 13485 and IVDR within Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Galway. The role centers on documenting control within the QMS and lifecycle management of documents.
You will maintain records, support audits, and collaborate across teams to implement quality documents. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related experience are required, with fluent English and strong organizational skills.

Position Summary The Quality Assurance Document Controller is a member of the Quality Team and plays important role in supporting the business in adhering to its quality and regulatory objectives. Additionally, this role is focused on Document Control activities and for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Galway (ARDG) QMS. The role is fundamental to supporting the implementation & maintenance of Abbott’s Quality System in alignment with applicable regulations and standards including EN ISO 13485 :2016/A11 :2021 and EU Regulation 2017/746 (IVDR) as well as other applicable standards and regulations.
