Job summary

HSE Dublin North East Region invites applications for a Technical Project Manager to apply project management and business analysis to deliver digital health solutions aligned with clinical and operational needs.

The post holder will provide technical leadership across the Dublin and North East Region, collaborating with ICT teams and stakeholders to manage technical debt, lifecycle strategies, and cybersecurity risk reduction, ensuring alignment with Digital for Care 2030 standards.

Purpose of the Post: The Technical Project Manager will apply project management and business analysis methodologies to ensure digital solutions are aligned to clinical, operational, and organisational requirements, deliver measurable benefits, and contribute to ensuring the successful implementation of the HSE Digital for Care strategy.
The post holder will provide technical leadership across the Dublin and North East Region, supporting both the implementation of strategic digital health programmes and the long-term sustainability of the regional technology estate.
The post holder will work collaboratively with acute and community ICT teams and other internal and external stakeholders, to identify, assess and reduce technical debt, develop technology lifecycle and refresh strategies, support cybersecurity risk reduction initiatives, advise on systems architecture and integration.
The postholder will ensure new digital investments align with Digital for Care 2030, regional and national technology standards & strategy.
The role will act as a trusted technical advisor across hospital and community services, promoting standardisation, resilience, interoperability and continuous improvement of technology services.
The role will work together with the Office of the Regional Director of Technology and Transformation ensuring a level of excellence is always maintained within the service provided by the RDTT office.
