Enable Ireland - Limerick is seeking a candidate for bus escorting duties primarily based out of Thurles or Nenagh. Responsibilities include providing care and personal assistance to service users and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in the Adult Day Services building.
The role requires 19.5 hours of work across Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria related to age and social welfare payments, and are expected to provide character references and complete Garda vetting if necessary.
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Bus escorting duties based out of Thurles or Nenagh. Care duties in our Adult Day Services building at Semple Stadium in Thurles or at our day services in Nenagh. Assisting service owners access services in the local community. Personal assistance for service users in the areas of toileting, feeding. Assisting with the general upkeep of all centre facilities and complying with all relevant health and safety standards. Escort on Enable Ireland buses or other transport. Driving duties may be allocated if applicant has a full B license (not compulsory). Work days of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 19.5 hours total. Any other appropriate duties.
