Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) invites applications for a Programme Assistant in Dingle, Co. Kerry. This permanent, part-time role (35 hours per week) offers a salary of €32,526–€42,730 per annum and a supportive team within a national organisation.

You will work with adults with intellectual disabilities, requiring QQI Level 5 or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience. Garda vetting and police clearance apply, and a full driving licence with own car is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award or equivalent in Community/Health/Social Care.
• At least 1 year experience with vulnerable adults or autistic/intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of current policy and developments in Social Care for disability services.
• Experience running programmes for adults with intellectual disability/autism.

Responsibilities

• Run programmes for adults with intellectual disability/autism.
• Promote the New Directions model of day support services within the role.
• Follow plans to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
