Job summary

Nicoll Curtin Limited is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a security-focused team delivering cloud-native applications in AWS. You will shape engineering practices, drive strategic planning and ensure security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, define the technical roadmap, and partner with product and business stakeholders to deliver measurable security and business outcomes, while advancing automation, CI/CD, testing and platform

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical teams.
• Experience delivering large-scale cloud-native applications in AWS.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers and security specialists.
• Define the team's vision, technical strategy and delivery roadmap.
• Own the successful delivery of key engineering initiatives and security improvements.
• Work with engineering, product and business stakeholders to prioritise work and outcomes.
• Champion Secure SDLC practices across development teams.
• Drive improvements in automation, CI/CD pipelines, testing and release processes.
