The role partners with Access, Medical Affairs, Development, and Commercial teams to ensure evidence needs are embedded in clinical development and product strategies. The position offers hybrid working options in Dublin, Ireland, with relocation support and a competitive base

As Director, International HEOR & HTA, Immunology, you will play a critical role in maximizing the value proposition of Novartis"'s Immunology portfolio by developing and executing impactful Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) strategies across the Research, Development, and Commercial continuum. Reporting to the HEOR TA Head, you will partner closely with Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Launch Strategy, Development, Biomedical Research, Patient Engagement, and country teams to ensure payer and HTA evidence requirements are embedded into clinical development plans, integrated evidence plans, and product strategies. This highly visible international role offers the opportunity to influence reimbursement, pricing, access, and healthcare system decisions in priority markets, while driving evidence generation that supports stronger patient outcomes and sustainable access. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Health Technology Assessment strategies across the Immunology portfolio.
• Generate impactful value evidence that strengthens payer value propositions and supports patient access objectives.
• Ensure payer and Health Technology Assessment evidence requirements are integrated into clinical development plans and evidence strategies.
• Lead development of key value evidence deliverables, including global value dossiers, economic models, evidence syntheses, and real-world evidence studies.
• Partner with Access, Medical Affairs, Development, Biomedical Research, and Commercial teams to maximize asset value.
• Translate complex scientific and economic evidence into compelling value stories for healthcare decision-makers and payers.
• Build strong relationships with external experts, Health Technology Assessment bodies, policy stakeholders, and scientific organizations.
• Monitor emerging Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Health Technology Assessment, reimbursement, and healthcare policy trends to shape strategic decisions.

Essential Requirements

• Advanced Degree; preferably Doctor of Philosophy, Medical Doctor, Master of Business Administration, Registered Pharmacist, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in Market Access or Health Economics and Outcomes Research within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep understanding of payer and Health Technology Assessment evidence requirements and decision-making dynamics outside the United States.
• Significant experience working in global or above-country multidisciplinary drug development environments.
• Strong knowledge of research methodology and statistical methods in the field of data analysis.
• Fluent English, both oral and written.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience within the Immunology therapeutic area.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 102,270.00 - 189,930.00 EUR The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
