Job summary

The Panel is seeking a seasoned Director for Mutual Fund Accounting EMEA & Strategic Client Operations in Dublin. You will oversee NAV calculations, act as the main client contact for KPIs and governance, and lead improvement programs to boost efficiency and reduce risk.

You will mentor a high-performing team, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory changes, and drive strategic client operations across the EMEA region from the Dublin base.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily NAV calculation ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as primary client contact for KPIs, SLAs, regulatory updates and governance.
• Lead operational improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Mentor and develop team members with regular performance reviews.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory changes and system enhancements.

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic leader for a Director Mutual Fund Accounting EMEA & Strategic Client Operations role in their global firm based in Dublin. This is a leadership opportunity within the FA area to manage one of their key clients. The area is highly automated with a huge focus on using AI initiatives to enhance delivery and client reporting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, managing a key client relationship, and leading a high-performing team dedicated to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilitie

• Oversee the daily NAV calculation process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary client contact for discussions related to KPIs, service-level agreements, product launches, regulatory updates, escalations, and governance
• Lead operational improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and align with strategic business goals
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members, providing regular performance reviews and professional development support
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders on projects related to regulatory changes, process optimization, and system enhancements

Requiremen

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in fund accounting operations wiith min 10 years in mutual fund accounting
• In-depth understanding of fund accounting processes
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing team
• Proven experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with auditors, clients, and market data provider
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related disciplin
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
