Job summary

Carlyle in Dublin, Ireland seeks a Director & Associate Counsel to negotiate and manage documentation across sales, leasing and financing of aviation assets. Based in Dublin, you will collaborate with senior legal leaders in Dublin and Miami and coordinate with outside counsel in multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires substantial international aviation experience, superior commercial judgment and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines while delivering practical legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of international legal experience in aviation leasing.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to close complex transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication across diverse cultures and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, manage and direct sales, leasing and financing of aviation assets from LOIs to definitive docs.
• Lead deal teams across sales, trading, technical and financing activities.
• Identify and resolve legal issues aligned with commercial objectives, incl. contract compliance and disputes.
