Job summary
Novartis is seeking a Global Clinical Operations AI Product Director to translate complex clinical operations challenges into scalable AI solutions, guiding products from concept through adoption with a focus on compliance, user-centric design, and measurable value.
This role is based in Dublin, Ireland and collaborates across Clinical Operations, Development AI, DDIT, Quality and Compliance to deliver AI-enabled workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 7+ years in a senior leadership/lead product role.
- Experience in product management, digital delivery, AI solution delivery, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, drug development, or highly regulated environments.
- Ability to translate business needs into AI requirements, use cases, and value propositions.
- Experience delivering products through SDLC using Agile or Scrum.
Responsibilities
- Identify clinical operations challenges and translate them into high-value AI opportunities and product concepts.
- Define use cases, scope, value hypotheses, and requirements for prioritized AI products.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and inform product direction.
- Bridge business and technical teams with clear functional requirements.
- Lead AI products through design, MVP, pilot, scaling, and adoption.
- Ensure solutions are user-focused, compliant with privacy and GxP requirements.
- Drive adoption by gathering feedback and monitoring outcomes.
- Collaborate across Global Clinical Operations, Development AI, DDIT, Quality, and Compliance.
