Job summary

AstraZeneca/Alexion seeks a leader to define and deliver AI-ready data products and tooling across operations and supply chain, guiding governance, readiness, and responsible AI at scale.

You will own roadmaps, manage cross-functional delivery, and ensure security, explainability, and value realization for patients and the business. Office options include Cork or Dublin with flexible collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience governing data products and AI-enabled products across their lifecycle.
• Translate business priorities into practical standards, controls and adoption pathways.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
• Experience with agile development, backlog ownership and delivery milestones.
• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, model evaluation and human oversight.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL, data lakes, modelling).
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage complexity.
• Experience with AI readiness requirements and governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and roadmaps for AI-ready data products and AI assets.
• Govern AI assets and ensure governance standards and risk controls.
• Lead delivery from inception to maturity with milestones and KPIs.
• Own feature backlogs; collaborate with architects, analysts, and engineers.
• Participate in enterprise governance and lifecycle management.
• Lead AI readiness assessments and ensure data quality, lineage, access control.
• Define quality criteria for AI-enabled solutions and monitor drift.
• Communicate value and align with leaders across operations.
