Job summary

Engage People Recruitment partners with a well-established financial services organisation in Dublin, seeking a Digital Architect to shape customer, broker, and partner interactions across front-end and backend systems. You’ll design end-to-end digital journeys, lead API integrations, and guide teams through microservices, cloud, and security best practices.

This hybrid, permanent role offers strong visibility and ownership within a fast-transforming environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in digital or solution architecture roles.
• Proven track record designing complex, integrated systems.
• Solid background in APIs, middleware, and enterprise integration.
• Experience across legacy and modern tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering scalable digital solutions across multiple systems
• Mapping out and improving customer and partner digital journeys
• Working closely with product, business, and engineering teams to turn requirements into real solutions
• Leading on integration across APIs, middleware, and legacy platforms
• Driving best practices around architecture (microservices, API-first, cloud, etc.)
• Acting as the go-to person between digital, integration, and core system teams
• Supporting and mentoring engineers within the team
