Job summary

Spectrum.Life seeks a fully qualified Adult, Children and Young People’s Digital Psychotherapist to provide evidence-based talking therapies online to adults over 18 and children/teens aged 6–17. You will work within our clinical team, delivering CBT, DBT, GBI, Play and Family-Based interventions, with triage support from a 24/7 service.

Hybrid with remote options and a focus on safeguarding and governance.

Qualifications

• Accredited membership with one of the recognised Irish/UK psychology bodies.
• Clean regulatory record for practice.
• Specialist training in child development, play therapy, systemic therapy, and legal aspects of child counselling.

Responsibilities

• Provide goal-focused therapeutic support to adults and young people using developmentally appropriate interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments at start of care episodes.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions including CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, and Family-Based Interventions.
• Provide crisis interventions via telephone or video and carry out risk assessments.
• Follow safeguarding protocols and liaise with child/adult safeguarding bodies as required.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and MDTs to support holistic care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with GDPR and policies.
• Engage in CPD, supervision, and research to improve outcomes.
• Contribute to service development and digital health initiatives.
