Job summary
Amwell is seeking a Digital Health Scientist in Ireland to generate and communicate evidence on the clinical, economic, and business impact of digital health and telemedicine solutions. You will lead and support research initiatives, analyze complex healthcare data, and collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to advance evidence-based virtual care.
The role involves supervising junior researchers, preparing reports and publications, and contributing to Amwell’s thought leadership
Qualifications
- PhD (or equivalent) in medicine, health economics, statistics & data analytics, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of digital health tech and its role in care delivery.
- Experience designing, conducting, and evaluating quantitative and qualitative research.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support research projects on clinical, economic, value-based and business outcomes.
- Design study protocols, develop methodologies, manage research activities.
- Collect, manage, and analyze surveys, interviews, and large healthcare datasets.
- Translate findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Supervise junior researchers and provide guidance.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, marketing, and BI teams to measure outcomes.
- Present findings to customers and leadership; develop reports and white papers.
- Publish peer-reviewed manuscripts and contribute to thought leadership.
