Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help build scalable applications across Portfolio Management, Compliance, Finance, Data Governance, and HR. The role collaborates with development teams, Senior DevOps engineers, and operates in a hybrid environment.

You will work with AWS/Azure, Terraform, CloudFormation, and GitHub Actions to automate provisioning, CI/CD, and deployment. Strong scripting in Python/PowerShell and a collaborative, agile mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of proven DevOps engineering experience.
• Experience deploying and managing services in AWS/Azure.
• Strong Git experience with branching, merging and conflict resolution.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD orchestration (GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Software development processes (Java, Python, SQL, Shell, IaC).
• Experience with Jira for issue tracking and version control.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable applications to support multiple business teams.
• Collaborate with development and Senior DevOps engineers to propose technical solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop infrastructure provisioning scripts and configuration management.
• Operate in a multi-platform environment including on-premise and cloud.
• Contribute to agile, collaborative ways of working.
