Letterkenny (Hybrid 2-3 Days in Office per week)
We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud‑based infrastructure and services. This role will play a key part in building scalable, secure, and resilient systems that support critical business applications.
What You Will Do
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and maintenance using Terraform
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security; troubleshoot issues as needed
- Ensure cloud environments follow best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to support cloud‑native solutions
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Azure cloud engineering roles
- 2+ years of experience using Terraform to automate Azure provisioning and maintenance
- Experience with scripting/programming (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
- Familiarity with Azure Container Apps
- Experience with git and GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Proactive and ownership‑driven mindset
What Will Set You Apart
- Cloud certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting enterprise‑scale environments
- Experience with designing, provisioning and testing BCDR for multi‑tier cloud‑based solutions
