Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Device Equipment Engineer to own equipment workstreams from specification through transfer to manufacturing. You will collaborate with suppliers, CMOs and site teams to ensure quality, compliance and on-time delivery across device programs.

The role offers exposure to development through commercialization and requires strong documentation, risk assessment and project-management skills to drive successful technology transfer and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in documentation, risk assessments and change controls.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment from specification to delivery, including commissioning and transfer to manufacturing.
• Support development, procurement, commissioning and transfer of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Develop engineering solutions meeting product and process requirements across device programs.
• Execute process development, characterization, scale-up and technology transfer activities.
• Lead equipment commissioning, qualification and verification activities (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, FAT, SAT).
• Coordinate with external suppliers, CMOs and cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
• Provide engineering reports, specs, protocols, risk assessments and status updates.
• Assist with risk assessments, investigations, change control impact assessments and problem solving.
• Support technology transfer, site integration and lifecycle activities and continuous improvement.
