Job summary

AMCS Group in Ireland is seeking a highly motivated Software Development Manager to lead multiple engineering teams across locations and deliver a world-class SaaS platform. You will drive architectural decisions, set strategic backlogs with Product Management and guide teams through complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.

This role requires 10+ years of software delivery leadership, a track record of managing globally distributed stakeholders, and a deep commitment to Agile, CI/CD and DevOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline.
• 10+ years' experience managing software development projects.
• 5+ years hands-on leadership of complex software development delivery initiatives.
• Proven track record in managing globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in agile software development and a metric-driven approach to software quality and release management.
• Experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment and SaaS business strategies.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes and strategies.
• Experience in software quality and test automation processes and systems.

Based in Limerick, the candidate will demonstrate a proven ability of delivering large enterprise level SaaS solutions, have demonstrated a strong technical competence and will influence architecture, design and development of top quality feature rich applications.
