Job summary

Elk Recruitment has an exciting opening for a Design Project Manager in Cork, hybrid role based in Little Island. You will manage client projects, prepare CAD/Revit drawings, and ensure feasible manufacturing and installation plans.

The position blends design with coordination across stakeholders in a growing cleanroom/datacentre environment. The role requires experience in manufacturing design, client-facing leadership, and supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing design is beneficial.
• Experience client facing and leading projects.
• Supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Relevant qualification is required.
• Experience with BIM is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and keep them updated on projects.
• Prepare drawings using CAD, Revit and BIM.
• Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans from architect/designer designs and modify existing drawings.
• Check feasibility of materials and designs for smooth/ safe manufacturing and construction.
• Present working drawings for tender, manufacture/construction and installation stages.
• Produce installation and manufacturing documentation aligning with procedures.
