Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Product Design Program Manager to scale the Global SME CX&D organization. You will lead operations, establish processes, and align Design, Product, and Engineering to deliver high-quality experiences at scale.

This role partners with Product Design, Content Design, User Research, Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure initiatives stay on track and impact customers positively.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Design Program Management, Design Operations, Product Operations, or similar.
• Experience supporting Product Design, UX, User Research, Content Design, or Design Systems.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with Design, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Experience building scalable operating models and processes that boost team effectiveness.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication; able to influence without authority.
• Solid program management skills: planning, prioritization, risk management, and agile execution.
• Proficiency with Jira, Figma, Confluence, Miro, Airtable, Smartsheet, Asana or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive planning, execution, and operational excellence across the CX&D organization.
• Partner with Design, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to align priorities.
• Build scalable processes, tools, and governance models for high-quality design delivery.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and communications across complex programs.
• Support design system adoption, accessibility initiatives, and design operations best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness through better workflows and AI-powered tooling.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing culture with cross-functional partnerships.
• Establish reporting, metrics, and insights on team health and progress.
• Support capacity planning, prioritization, and resource management across design.
