Qualifications

• Recognised professional qualification in Architecture.
• RIAI Registered Architect or eligibility for registration without further assessment.
• Ideally a minimum of 2 years' post-registration professional experience.
• Strong design ability with understanding of construction, detailing and project delivery.
• Experience in ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Lumion advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of Irish Planning, Building Regulations and Building Control.
• Experience preparing and coordinating planning, tender and construction documentation.
• Strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, coordinate project information and take responsibility for assigned projects and work packages.
• Confident and professional approach to working directly with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Experience in residential design, planning applications and construction-stage delivery would be advantageous.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Studio-based from Mountmellick office.
• Full clean driver's licence preferred for site visits.
• Submit CV and portfolio clearly identifying personal contributions.

Responsibilities

• Architectural design and development from concept through to detailed design.
• Preparation and coordination of planning applications and submissions.
• Measured surveys and documentation of existing buildings.
• Preparation and coordination of technical and construction drawing packages.
• Coordination with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Management of projects and work packages through key project stages.
• Site visits, construction-stage involvement and contract administration.
• Review of work for compliance with Irish Planning, Building Regulations and Building Control requirements.
• Preparation of presentation material, reports and project documentation.
• Supporting the delivery and organisation of projects within the studio.
