Job summary

Glantech staffing, in partnership with our client, seeks a Design Engineer to support from tender to construction on water/wastewater projects in Ireland.

The role involves coordinating design inputs, managing consultant deliverables, engaging with clients, and supporting internal teams across all project phases, with hands-on use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and GIS.

A detail-oriented, communicative professional with 2+ years of experience and strong MS Office skills is invited to apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a design coordination or civil engineering role.
• Familiarity with utility infrastructure projects, water/wastewater projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP documentation and coordinate pricing from consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop design proposals, programmes, and methodologies for submission.
• Organise and manage site surveys and design deliverables during project mobilisation.
• Liaise with internal teams and designers to ensure timely progress and constructability input.
• Support planning, permitting, and CPO processes as needed.
• Manage and submit design change orders and progress updates.
• Present developed designs at key milestones and finalise documentation for construction.
• Provide ongoing design coordination and support during the construction phase

I partnership with our Client, Glantech staffing are currently seeking applications for the position of design engineer. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Design Engineer to support the design process from tender stage through to construction on water/wastewater projects.

This role involves coordinating design inputs, managing consultant deliverables, engaging with clients, and supporting internal teams across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review RFP documentation and coordinate pricing from consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop design proposals, programmes, and methodologies for submission.
• Organise and manage site surveys and design deliverables during project mobilisation.
