Job summary

TEG Ireland is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Mullingar design team, delivering mechanical design engineering and problem-solving support to the pharmaceutical sector. You will reverse engineer components, support production and sales, and lead cross-functional activities to resolve complex issues, driving continuous improvement.

The role requires collaboration across production, sales and marketing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD (NX preferred) and 2D CAD.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving background.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production, sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical design engineering and problem solving for the pharmaceutical industry.
• Complete reverse engineering from measurement to production.
• Provide technical support for production, sales and marketing.
• Own cross-functional activities to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Project manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Feedback to design teams to prevent recurrence and improve designs.
