Writech Limited, an internationally recognised leader in fire protection, is seeking a Design Engineer in Ireland to design sprinkler systems and deliver AutoCAD and Revit drawings in line with QA procedures.

You will create hydraulic calculations, plan project programs, and collaborate with Operations and Installation teams to resolve design issues and ensure delivery across European regions.

Formación

• 2+ years in sprinkler design.
• Experience with NFPA/EN 12845 standards a plus.
• Experience working with BIM tools and Revit.

Responsabilidades

• Produce CAD drawings for Electrical and Mechanical installation.
• Ensure QA standards are met and drawings are of the highest quality.
• Create hydraulic calculations using industry-standard software.

THE ROLE

As a Design Engineer, you will work closely with our high-profile client base to design fire protection sprinkler systems. You will produce Auto-CAD and Revit drawings for Electrical and Mechanical installation work and ensure that standards are adhered to and that drawings produced are of the highest quality, all in accordance with Q.A. procedures. You will create Hydraulic Calculations using industry-approved software, plan project programs/scheduling, and prepare submittals. You will work closely with the Operations and Installation teams to communicate; problem solve and update drawings for all coordination and design issues.

Reporting to: Design Lead

Days: Monday – Friday.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• At least 2 years of experience in sprinkler design
• Preferred experience in European regions
• Knows about sprinkler hydraulic calculations
• Has experience is working based on NFPA / EN 12845 standards
• Experience working with BIM and Revit
• You already have the job description for the design engineer role to reference
