Job summary

Crypto.com’s Quant Trading team in Dublin seeks a seasoned quantitative trader to identify opportunities across perpetual futures, options and derivatives markets, and to develop strategies focused on capital efficiency and risk-adjusted returns.

You will monitor Greeks exposure, portfolio performance, and key risk metrics in real time, while contributing to post-trade analytics and automated execution infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5–10 years of profitable trading experience on a leading trading desk within a bank, prop trading firm, or market-making environment.
• Demonstrable experience in building, managing, and scaling derivative trading strategies.
• Strong understanding of derivatives pricing, hedging techniques, and risk management frameworks.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical, alpha research and problem-solving skills, with time-sensitive execution.
• Proficiency in Python; strong command of Microsoft Excel. Experience with C++, R, KDB+/Q is a plus.
• Strong interest in and knowledge of both cryptocurrency and traditional asset classes.

Job description

The Quant Trading team is responsible for executing trades and managing risks associated with derivative products, such as options, futures, and swaps. The team develops and implement trading strategies to support the quantitative trading team in making informed decisions in fast-paced and complex trading environments.

About the Role

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively across trading, risk, and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience trading crypto derivatives (perpetuals, options, structured products) would be a plus.
• Experience with real‑time risk systems and automated execution infrastructure.
