Job summary

Lidl Ireland is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a busy store and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support the Store Manager daily, coach the team, and ensure high standards of presentation and stock control.

The ideal candidate has practical management experience, a leaving certificate, and a passion for targets and customer service. A driving licence is required and flexibility to work varied shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Leaving certificate or equivalent completed.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Full driving licence.
• Passion for working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shift patterns.
• Preferably experience as Assistant Store Manager, but not essential if attitude is right.

Responsibilities

What you\'ll do

What you\'ll need

• You have completed your leaving certificate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a fast-paced environment
• Full driving licence
• A passion for working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The flexibility to work varying shift patterns
• Preferably, previous experience working as an Assistant Store Manager, but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude
