TTM Healthcare Limited seeks a Deputy Person in Charge / Team Leader in Portarlington, Co. Laois, to support the leadership and management of a rights-based residential disability service.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality care and ensuring safeguarding and regulatory compliance. You will deputise for the Person in Charge, lead staff teams, develop staff skills, and contribute to ongoing service development and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care leadership within residential settings.
• Understanding of HIQA standards and relevant legislation.
• Ability to manage staff rotas, appraisals and development plans.

Responsibilities

• Support the Person in Charge in delivering and managing high-quality residential services.
• Deputise for the Person in Charge when required.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision to staff teams.
• Support staff rotas, probation reviews and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and disability legislation.
• Support HIQA inspections and quality-improvement plans.

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Deputy Person in Charge (Team Leader) on behalf of a new, rights-based residential disability service.

Location: Portarlington, Co. Laois

Role: Deputy Person in Charge / Team Leader

Salary: €50,000 per annum

Service: Residential disability services

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Care professional looking to progress their leadership career within a new, person-centred service supporting people with disabilities.

The role:

• Support the Person in Charge in the delivery and management of high-quality residential services
• Deputise for the Person in Charge when required
• Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and supervision to staff teams
• Support staff rotas, probation reviews, appraisals and staff development
• Ensure compliance with HIQA Standards, disability legislation and organisational policies
• Support HIQA inspections, audits, regulatory notifications and quality-improvement plans
• Develop and review person-centred Support and Care Plans
• Promote residents' independence, dignity, rights and community participation
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, advocates and external professionals
• Support safeguarding, risk management and Health & Safety requirements
• Participate in the management on-call rota
