Job summary

Back 4 Good is seeking an experienced Deputy Nursing Officer for a leading care facility in Churchtown, Dublin. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will support daily clinical operations and lead nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.

You will ensure HIQA compliance, conduct audits, maintain care plans and documentation, and mentor staff to sustain a culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with the NMBI.
• 5+ years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior nursing role.
• Strong understanding of HIQA standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff nurses and healthcare assistants.
• Manage staffing levels and shift rotas.
• Conduct clinical audits.
• Maintain accurate care plans and documentation.
