Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Deputy Manager for our Carlow store at Carlow Retail Park. You will support the Store Manager in running daily operations, driving sales and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires managerial experience in retail, a track record in coaching teams, and strong knowledge of compliance and operations. Excellent communication and MS Office proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A year of managerial experience in a retail sales environment.
• Proven track record in coaching and managing colleagues.
• Strong understanding of compliance and operational standards.
• Ability to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer metrics.
• Commercial acumen and awareness of industry trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn our systems.
