Job summary

Halfords Galway is hiring a friendly retail team member in our Galway store in the Republic of Ireland. You’ll assist customers, demonstrate products, and learn the practical aspects of our fitting services while earning €14.15 per hour.

We train heavily to help you develop your career, with rewards including store discounts, pension, uniform, and other benefits. Success depends on delivering great service, proactively helping customers, solving problems, and being available weekends to meet

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service in a retail environment.
• Proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs.
• Strong problem solving and numerical skills to meet targets.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
• Ideally, some experience working towards and achieving sales targets.

Based in our Galway store in Republic of Ireland, ideally, you already have Retail sales experience but if you’ve worked in another customer focused sales environment, we’re likely to be a great fit for each other.

You’re already a legend at quick and efficient working, and we’ll give you the product knowledge and skills training you need to wow every customer. You’ll learn how to demonstrate and explain our products as well as the practical aspects of our fitting services.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environment
• A proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs
• Problem solving skills
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends
• Ideally, some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets
