Murphy is recruiting for a Depot Manager to lead our Plant team in Newbridge. The role focuses on managing yard operations, coordinating with multiple departments and ensuring asset readiness for projects.

Applicants should bring proven plant and machinery experience, strong IT skills, and a track record of leading a team. Lifting and working at heights are essential; an appointed person qualification is desirable.

• Develop product knowledge of our fleet and stay updated with market changes.
• Use in-house systems for maintenance, asset management and QA.
• Oversee health, safety and environmental compliance across yard operations.
• Complete toolbox talks.

Murphy is recruiting for a Depot Manager to work with our Plant team in Newbridge.

Role Purpose:

We are looking to recruit a Plant Depot Manager for our Plant team based in Newbridge.

Key responsibilities:

• Interact with Company Projects Teams on the phone and on email, regarding upcoming project requirements.
• Managing the yard team to load and prep machinery / accommodation to all stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager on all activities.
• Effectively interact with other departments including logistics, accounts and the workshop to ensure that customers’ needs are fulfilled, and our own assets are available to fulfil project needs.
• Continuously developing product knowledge of our fleet whilst keeping up to date with changes and advancements in the market.
• Working on in-house systems for maintenance / asset management / quality assurance.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across all yard operations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Complete toolbox talks.
• Previous experience in Plant and Machinery is essential.
• Proven track record of managing a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Lifting experience / working at heights is essential.
• Appointed person qualification is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong IT skills, with proficiency across a range of software applications.
