Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Depositary Operations professional in Ireland to support oversight under AIFMD and UCITS requirements. The role involves coordinating documentation, asset verification, and governance adherence in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Successful candidates will work with Investment Managers, internal teams, and external parties to ensure accurate reporting and data gathering for clients, with opportunities to contribute improvements to processes.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the Funds Industry is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external parties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Interpret information from Investment Managers to understand an Alternative investment.
• Coordinate sourcing executed documentation & validate documentation and information.
• Perform and review Asset Verification to verify ownership of the Fund over ‘Other Assets’.
• Support the team with daily processes and mailbox maintenance.
• Attend meetings with internal and external parties and suggest improvements.
