PortmanDentex is recruiting for a dual Receptionist/Dental Nurse position at Dundrum Dental Surgery in Dundrum Village, Dublin. We seek a qualified Dental Nurse or someone keen to train, to join a friendly, well-established practice committed to excellent patient care.

The role is full-time (35 hours over 4 days), with shifts Mon–Sat, 7:45am–6:30pm, and a competitive rate of €17–€19 per hour DOE. You will work with a supportive, experienced clinical team and deliver outstanding patient service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a qualified Dental Nurse or front-of-house reception in healthcare, with willingness to train as a Dental Nurse.
• Experience in both Reception and Dental Nursing is advantageous.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
• Positive, professional and well-organised work ethic.
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and patients while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Care for private patients.
• Work with a highly experienced clinical team including dentists, hygienists and specialists.

About you

We'd love to receive your application if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience as a qualified Dental Nurse or previous front-of-house Reception experience (ideally within a dental or healthcare setting), with a willingness to train as a Dental Nurse
• Alternatively, previous experience in both Reception and Dental Nursing would be highly advantageous
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• A caring and empathetic approach, with outstanding communication skills
• A positive attitude and a professional, well-organised approach to your work
• A team player who enjoys building strong relationships with colleagues and patients while delivering exceptional customer service
