Job summary

Colm Smith Dental Specialist & Implant Centre in Cootehill, Co. Cavan, seeks a dedicated Full-Time Dental Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team. Based at our state-of-the-art clinic, you will provide chairside assistance across general, specialist and surgical procedures.

You will maintain infection control, prepare surgeries, welcome patients, and manage digital records. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advanced dentistry while working with leading clinicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in dental/nurse role.
• Minimum Level 6 qualification (incl Higher Advanced Certificate & National Craft Certificate).

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during general, specialist and surgical dental procedures.
• Maintain infection control, decontamination and sterilization protocols.
• Prepare and set up surgeries with instruments, materials and equipment.
• Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and well-being.
• Manage digital patient records on Exact, updating charts and clinical notes accurately.
