Job summary

Myn is seeking a Dentist to provide a full range of general dental care to patients in a modern, well-equipped clinic in Ireland.

You will perform examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, restorations, preventive care, and may refer to specialists when needed. The role involves maintaining records and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Proven registration and eligibility to practise in Ireland.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive oral examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Perform general dentistry procedures (fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges).
• Provide preventive care and patient education on oral hygiene.

The Role

As a Dentist at Myn, you'll provide a full range of general dental care to patients, from routine check-ups and preventive care to restorative and cosmetic treatments, in a modern, well-equipped clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive oral examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Perform general dentistry procedures (fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges)
• Provide preventive care and patient education on oral hygiene
• Refer patients to specialists or perform (orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics) where appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with Dental Council guidelines
• Ensure full compliance with infection control, health and safety, and radiography protocols
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with patients to encourage long-term care
• Collaborate with dental nurses, hygienists, and reception staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Stay current with best practices, materials, and continuing professional development (CPD)

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Valid registration with the Dental Council of Ireland
• Proven clinical experience (new graduates are welcome to apply)
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Right to Work in Ireland
• Full Driving Licence

Nice to Have

• Experience or interest in a specialist area (cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics)
• Experience with digital dentistry (intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM, digital X-ray systems)
