Job summary

Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) seeks a Production Laboratory Administrator Grade IV for the Dental Laboratory Department. This permanent, on-site role is 35 hours per week, reporting to the Production Laboratory Manager.

You will support the laboratory with case logging, external lab liaison, and admin tasks essential to patient and student services. The successful candidate will have a relevant QQI Level 6 qualification, hospital experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

• QQI Level 6 or higher and relevant third level qualification.
• Hospital setting experience preferred.
• Strong admin skills with ability to multitask and maintain detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in MS Office.
• Demonstrated autonomy with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Log and track dental laboratory cases within the production lab and external labs.
• Administer laboratory services efficiently to staff and students.
• Produce monthly reports with volume and cost per department.
• Manage queries from staff and students by phone or in person.
• Provide induction training to staff and students at start of each academic year.
• Maintain records and contribute to ISO reports and accreditation.
• Draft minutes for laboratory committee meetings and support general administration.
