Job summary

PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions with offices in Ireland, the United States and Puerto Rico, seeks a DeltaV Automation Engineer to maintain and develop ISA-88 compliant batch standards across multiple sites in Cork, Dublin and Tipperary.

The role focuses on designing batch processes, updating library standards, and ensuring compliance within regulated pharma/biotech environments, working with global automation teams and delivering changes under site change control.

Qualifications

Degree in Automation/Engineering or related technical field.
5+ years of experience with Emerson DeltaV systems.
Strong understanding of process control and instrumentation.
Experience in regulated pharma/biotech environments is desirable.
Familiarity with SCADA, PLCs and OPC communications.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update DeltaV site automation standards on site.
Collaborate with Global Automation on alignments and updates to common Library standards.
Design and implement ISA-88 batch processes.
Configuration & documentation of ISA-88/S88 standards.
Strong focus on batch automation standards for manufacturing pharma, biotech.
Work within regulated environments, delivering software under site change control.
