Cognizant Ireland is seeking an experienced DeltaV automation engineer to join our Life Sciences manufacturing solutions team in Cork. You will design, code and test DeltaV software changes and support commissioning, validation, and CQV activities on client projects.

You will lead engineering activities, coordinate with front office and remote teams, ensure SIT/validation milestones, and contribute to a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment onsite in Cork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years DeltaV experience, on-site
• Experience designing and programming DeltaV control systems
• S88 batch process control in (Bio)Pharma
• Creation of Design and Test Specifications (URS, recipes, phases)
• Lead teams and coordinate resources across vendors and offices
• Experience with CQV, FAT/SAT, and site commissioning

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the development of automation software and hardware to align with NPI schedules
• Support CQV teams in shakedown and verification of DeltaV software
• Design, code and test DeltaV software changes identified during commissioning
• Collaborate with automation engineers to meet milestones and standards
• Ensure project standards and library modules are followed consistently
