The ideal candidate has hands-on DeltaV, Emerson Syncade, and OSI PI experience, plus strong problem-solving skills and manufacturing facility support experience. Immediate start possible.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Delta V Automation Engineer to manage and maintain automation infrastructure in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Dublin. Key responsibilities include ensuring cGMP and GAMP compliance, integrating systems with MES/IT platforms, and developing detailed documentation. The role requires hands-on experience with DeltaV, Emerson Syncade, and OSI PI, along with strong problem-solving skills and expertise in automation system support, change control, and GMP standards.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Ensure automation systems comply with cGMP and GAMP standards.
• Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and resolving automation issues.
• Implement change controls, conduct impact assessments, and manage deviations.
• Integrate automation systems with MES and other IT platforms.
• Develop documentation, including validation protocols and reports, to support system lifecycle activities.

The Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Degree in Engineering/Computer Science.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience in the automation industry within a pharmaceutical environment.
• Hands-on experience with Delta V automation platform and Emerson Syncade.
• Manufacturing facility support experience.
• Expertise in implementing change controls and investigating deviations.
• In-depth knowledge of cGMP and GAMP for automation systems.
• Experience with OSI PI, SQL Server, visualization platforms, and IT.
• A full valid Irish work permit is required for this role as it is an immediate start.
