As a vital member of our food service operations, you will contribute by taking in deliveries, recording HACCP records, stock control and assisting the breakfast chef while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Accept and check all deliveries
- Correctly store chilled/frozen and ambient produce.
- Use the FIFO system of stock control
- Assist the breakfast chefs with ancillary duties
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients
- Assist with inventory management and storage of food items and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
- Participate in cleaning and organizing kitchen and dining areas

- Food handling experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work schedules
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods
