Job summary

Aramark in Cork is seeking a reliable Operations Assistant to join our food service logistics team. This hands-on role combines goods-in and goods-out duties, ensuring deliveries are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and safely to maintain daily operations.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly with colleagues, and follow HACCP and food safety procedures. A full, clean Category B licence and previous delivery driving experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely Deliver food, beverages, equipment and supplies to onsite & offsite locations
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring items are handled with care
• Check orders before departure to ensure accuracy
• Plan delivery routes effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Obtain delivery confirmations and signatures where required
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, roadworthy and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Receive and check internal and external deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Identify and report shortages, damages or discrepancies.
• Store stock safely and accurately in the correct locations.
• Maintain stock traceability and comply with HACCP procedures.
• Accurately pick customer and internal orders.
• Pack products safely to maintain quality during transport.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Comply with all Food Safety, HACCP and Health & Safety procedures.
• Participate in daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Support colleagues across the operation as required, including internal deliveries and other operational duties.
